A three fold cord that has stood for 49+ years!
> a three fold cord is not quickly broken.
ReplyDeleteSurely that depends on the material from which the cord is made?
Yeah....so happy for you Susan!
ReplyDeleteYes, Maalie, sooooo true and ours is the strongest!!!
ReplyDeleteSusan
Such tears of joy in my eyes for you right now!
ReplyDeleteI love the last picture!! I always think of a braid - you see the two strands but the third is not seen...but there - to hold it together!! Without the third, there woudl be no braid. I think that is such an awesome view of marriage with God being the strength behind it!
Good to see strong families bonding together. There are not many close families out in this world today. I try to keep my family closely bonded. We have a family night every Monday night where I cook a big meal and they all come home to eat. I started that after my first daughter got married. Now both daughters are married and out on their own. Monday nights are very special to me.
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful family photos. I loved the caption under your picture with Mickey...so happy for you for this reunion.
