CALLING ALL LURKERS

I just saw this over at Pea's and had to join in. Today is the last day, so I almost missed this!!!
I’ve just learned that January 7 - 13, 2008 is National Delurking Week. I looked up what “delurking” means. Apparently, “lurking” is the practice of reading blogs and comment threads without commenting yourself, or making it known that you’re a reader. So “delurking” is making your presence known through comments, etc. Come out, come out, wherever you are! Let me know that you're here reading this:-)Feel free to take any of these captions and use them on your blog to promote National Delurking Week!!
I would be so honored and pleased if you, who are reading my blog and have never left a comment, would join in and delurk!!! I know from my site-reader there are many of you. I would love to know and "meet" you so please who-ever-you-are.......come out, come out!!!
THANKS!!!!

  1. Susan,

GREAT IDEA! Although I am no longer a "lurker" on your site. I used to be and I would encourage others who are to take a minute to get to know you...it is well worth it!

    Take Care,
    Melissa

  8. Wouldn't it be fun if all of our lurkers would make themselves known? My site reader has been amazing since I began the twin story, but may do not comment.

  16. What a great idea. I'm not a lurker. I always comment when I read. I love to comment. I'm a commentaholic. I do because I appreciate a kind word or two.

  17. Now that I'm not posting I find I have turned into a lurker. I hit my bloglines and read away. I have really cut my reading down and only check out my favorites.

Since I'm here and commenting I guess you know where you rate on my list of the people I love.

Thinking about you daily as well :o)

  18. Well, I am not a lurker by any means and I did miss posting this but I am sure it would be interesting to know who all read our blogs. I know when I look at stats once in a blue moon, compared to those who leave comments that they are a lot of lurkers out there. Hugs to you! Have a great day!
