Yes, you read the title correctly!!!! Thursday, the EU created this new post and the other EU leaders unanimously chose Belgium Prime Minister Herman van Rompuy. He will take office January 1, 2010.

Hmmm. Time will tell what role he will play in the end times. I was rather surprised that he was elected "unanimously".
