Thanks for the compliment- Here's the story...(lame as it is)
My parents took turns naming us kids. So my dad picked first name for first son, Shane, and my mom picked middle, Micheal. Next kid-mom's turn, Jason, dad picked, Aaron for a middle. On me dad was up...he wanted Amanda (he like the don willimas song amanda), my mom wanted Lynn for a middle name. But my mom refused to have a daughter named Amanda Lynn (sounding like the instrument). So they threw it up to a vote of the extended family...and somehow Heidi Jo got the most!
I was born on my great grandmothers birthday though and I've always asked my mom why she didn't name me after her...Ella. She blames it on hormones and forgetfulness:-)
In real life (opposed to blog life) I don't ever go by Heidi Jo. I am just Heidi.
Isn't blogging fun. It's so great meeting new people. Who would have thought months ago that we would have ever met and now look, hurray, we are friends. Be blessed Susan. I know I am because of YOU :)
Awwww what a delightful page that is!! Isn't it just so amazing the wonderful friendships that have occured through blogging...I just don't know what I ever did without all of you before!! xox
Thanks for the cheer! And for visiting me today and leaving your comment about Tozer and that "hurt" quote..I've not heard that quote by him but did hear David Jeremiah say once that when we allow God to bring us face to face with the true condition of our hearts, it's gonna really hurt! And I wonder if that's the type of hurt Tozer meant?
Thank you for your sweet comment over at my blog today! I appreciate your prayers!
I just read your bio and I love what you wrote about your happy marriage and how y'all travel all over in your RV! That sounds so wonderful!!! It just put a smile on my face!
What a wonderful way to start my morning.
ReplyDeleteI want to thank you, also, for the richness you add to my life. :-)
I think it's you who are the spice of blogging. You always have a loving, caring comment and you share such beautiful moments from your life.
