SHOW & TELL #9 - SUZY BLUE

Well it's Friday once again and time for SHOW & TELL.

Hop on over to Kelli's site at There Is No Place Like Home for all the details, if per chance you haven't all ready been participating in this fun blogging every Friday.

For today I wanted to Show & Tell our hot air balloon - SUZY BLUE.

We purchased Suzy Blue and she was delivered to us on May 15, 1981.

We had many exciting times with Suzy Blue and flew her not only in Tulsa but Kansas, Tennessee, Arkansas, Texas and of course the Grand Daddy of all The International Balloon Fiesta every October in Albuquerque, New Mexico .

Check in with Penless Writer next Monday to find out more about our adventures with SUZY BLUE!

Now that's quite the show and tell item. I didn't realize what an adventurer you are! You probably have seen some beautiful sites floating above the earth. Blessings!

It is just too neat that you have had hot air balloons and flew and ridden in them!! We had a balloon festival years ago in Baton Rouge, and it was so neat to see the balloons up in the air every morning for 2 weeks.

Well I'll be! Imagine that, you have your own hot air balloon!! How cool is that?? I'm terrified of heights, though, so you'd have to knock me out first and that would kind of defeat the purpose! LOL xox

How cool are you! My goodness, I think anything I show would be very ordinary compared to this. How fun too! You are quite the adventuresome kind of gal. Thanks for sharing.

Susan, you sure are brave-I have such a fear of heights. However, I do enjoy looking at hot air balloons and Suzy Blue sure is a beautiful one!

beautiful balloon! You flew in Tennessee--About that time--early 80s--there was a balloon race, or event of some kind, near us. The balloons would land in a field near our house. Our children loved going down to see the balloons land--some would take off again.

Just think--you might have been in one of those balloons!

Wow, a hot air balloon! I am envious. One of the things I want to do, now that I am retired (and have stopped living at work and started working at living, as you say on your blog) is ride in a hot air balloon. I look forward to next Friday and more Suzy Blue stories.

Susan,

Get out! A hot air balloon :)!!! That is awesome. What fun you must have with Suzy Blue. Can't wait to hear more.

I love the thoughts on Moonflowers you posted! My constant prayer is that I will have eyes to see and ears to hear, where God is leading me. What a beautiful way you have layed out the words for our walk of faith.

Thanks for the sweet compliments to my blog! I do hope to have something published someday. Just needing time to really write. Sooo challenging at the moment!

Blessings,
Amy
