COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS......
Count your blessings
That is what I am doing here today. Naming two very special blessings I have received just the past two days since my granddaughter, Oksana, came home.
#1 - Right after she got to their home and brought her stuff into the house she opened a book to show me her bookmark she had bought for herself. It was about 6" long and was cussive letters B E L I E V E. My heart skipped a beat. This was my granddaughter who would say "Grandma is too religious. She talks about God and Jesus all the time." Thank you Jesus.
#2 - Then last night when I tried to call their house, just before we left for Church, and got no answer. When I called after church I inquired if they had gone out to dinner. That is where I figured they were. My Oksana's reply was, "No, Dad was driving me to church." My heart skipped two beats!!!! My granddaughter went to Wednesday night church services with one of her girlfriends.
God is doing Great and Mighty things in the Joyce family!!!!
We are truly Re-Joyce-Ing!!!
I wake up each morning with anticipation of what the new day will bring.
It's been a long haul.....but GOD IS FAITHFUL if we just keep
BELIEVING
&
STANDING
Proverbs 22:5 – “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
I have seen this be yet another of the many promises of God I have seen fulfilled in my life. I have stood on this promise for years and saw it fulfilled 60 days ago when our 43 years old son returned to God.
Even though he left the faith and travelled down many occult and philisophical roads he returned to the Faith and His God. God is faithful to HIS WORD.
David, the prodigal, is now David, heir of the living God.

My goodness! I have not been able to get over for a few days and I have missed a lot! But it was good to read it all together and get out the Kleenexes! I LOVE the tribute to your dear husband. I LOVE that your granddaughters are there. I can't wait to have time to read David's story. I can't imagine 10 years without knowing anything. But you were faithful. I LOVE his dedication to his story. Wonderful, wonderful. God is so good! And you were so faithful, and now are seeing the fruits. Blessings on you as you celebrate this wonderful Christmas of JOYce!
My favorite picture is the one in Alaska after you retired. 6 months away - sounds wonderful!
wow what blessing God is bestowing on you all there in OK USA.. Christ is risen indeed and all Authority in Heaven and on Earth has been giving to HIM and HE takes captivity captive and gives gifts to men and authority in the binding and the loosing ;]

What wonderful blessings happening in your family right now.
So happy for you.
It does seem like this year, and this time was made specially for you and your family!
Yep. That's the way. indoctrinate 'em when they're young and you have 'em for life. So say the Jesuits.
I trust for their own sakes that they will mature to cast off the blinkers.
It's an avalanche of Goodness! I am praising God and doing the dance-of-Joy(ce) for you and yours!!!!
Speechless....I shouldn't be because God hears us when we pray, but this is amazing!
Praise the Lord, Susan. Praise the LORD!
Hallelujah!!!
I am thrilled and awed by God. What wonderful things he is doing in your family. What rejoicing indeed and thankfulness. The Lord will continue and complete the good work he is doing!!
God is just heaping blessing after blessing on you guys and I am so very glad for it!
Susan!
I know you are just bursting with joy!
My comment is from Psalm 33:11
Bot the plans of the LORD stand firm forever,
the puposes of his heart through all generatons.
Oh Susan, praise God. Praise His Holy name!
That is just wonderful! God is so faithful. He is able to do more that we can ask or imagine!!
God is faithful, isn't He?

Blessings, indeed! This is just wonderful.
this makes my heart smile :]
God is indeed faithful.
You are such an inspiration and example of a woman who trusts and leans on God in everything. Thank you! And I reJOYCE with you for all the good things that are happening - and have happened - in your family.
I like where you said you were thankful for all your prayers that will be answered. Our sermon mentioned that very point a few weeks ago. Prayers are always answered and we should pray with rejoicing and sureness for it will happen. Have a lovely weekend!
I love David's new name ;)
How exciting to see and hear of progress being made in Oksana's life.
I agree with Maalie, in a different way, of course! Let's do believe that as they mature the blinkers will come off, and the Truth will be as apparant to them as though they could physically touch Him. They will not be blind, but have perfect eyesight to follow in Jesus Christ's footsteps. For whom the Son sets free...yep...he is FREE INDEED!
Thanks for sharing this! God is the ultimate multi-tasker! I always marvel at how He does it ALL!
KJ
I'm praising with you.
Wow--awesome--I love it when God starts working on hearts and removing the blindness!!
