FINISHED KITCHEN - Almost!

I am most happy to report we are almost finished with the painting wallpapering project!!! What a long, drawn out deal this turned out to be!!!!

Here is the beginning after I had stripped off the old wallpaper.
Here is the new.

Another shot of the partially removed and old wallpaper.

The new.

The old wall with the wallpaper border.

The new.
The last remaining piece to complete this project is Mickey will be adding a quarter round wood strip all along the outer edges of the wallpaper. It will be painted the darker brown to match the bead board in the dining area. We are very happy with the results and very happy it is finished!!!
**********
Addendum: The first few commenter's were asking about the brick. Yes, it is wallpaper!!!!
It is a very heavy vinyl, which was not the easiest to put up, especially the edges and matching the brick but it truly looks like brick. You're tempted to touch it to be sure!!!! We are delighted with how it looks. We had to put up something and could not just paint the walls because the original owners of the house had run the laminated counter top clear up to the cupboards. When we bought the house we redid the kitchen and had a new counter top and sink installed and I did not want the counter top run clear up the wall so we wallpapered. You saw how it looked under there so to be covered up again with something.

The kitchen looks great! Is that brickwork wallpaper? I thought it was real brick. From the pictures it looks so realistic!

It must feel great to have it accomplished!
