I'M ONE HAPPY ME!!!!

I hadn't said anything about about it on my blog but I have been in really bad pain with my left knee since the first of the year. On January 30th I finally went to the Dr. who took 6 x-rays and lab work and came back with "degenerative joint disease". Which I told him was a nice way of say, I was getting old!!!! As if I didn't know.

Finally it got so bad that I had them refer me to a Orthopedic Dr. who I saw on March 26th. He thought I had torn cartilage under my knee cap and that he would do arthroscopic surgery but wanted me to have an MRI, just to be sure. I had the MRI last Saturday and saw the Orthopedic Dr. again yesterday.

YEAH!!!!! He says the tear does not look that bad, but that I did have fluid on that knee. He said, we can do either of two things: either go ahead with the surgery or wait and see if it gets better. Now, what kind of choice is THAT?!!!!! I told him I believed in prayer and I believed in healing and I would wait for my healing thank you!!!

He asked what I was taking and I said, Ty*le*nol and he said he wanted me to start taking 3 Ibu*pro*fen 3 times a day. The bottle says, 2 every 6 hours, but he said it would not hurt me to take 3 and also the Ty*le*nol at night to sleep better.

Here it is just 24 hours later and I can already tell the difference. PRAISE GOD - praise God!!!!! I am almost feeling fit enough to do a happy dance.

Now you can also understand why the painting, wallpapering job was such a big deal and took us so long to complete.

That's wonderful news! I'm so glad to hear that the pain is subsiding. It's amazing how one small thing can affect your whole body and can even begin to affect your outlook on life.

I hope things continue to get better.

I'm glad you had a bit of good news, but don't do that happy dance just yet, wait and let it heal a little more! Keep us up on your progress.

Praising God with you Susan. I know how hard it can be to live with pain(my hubby's hips). Hope you continue to improve.

That seems about right, that you wouldn't mention your knee. Well now that you secret is out, you are going to get PRAYED FOR!!

I love your attitude - that God is in the healing business!

Aww Susan, I feel for you. I tore my Anterior Cruciate Ligament years ago and had to have surgery. Very painful indeed. Lifting up a prayer for you dear sister :)
