SHOW & TELL #23 - Small hobnail pitcher & glasses
I haven't been as faithful in participating in Show & Tell lately...life seems to be really crowding us lately!! It truly is one of my favorite things in blogland so I hope you go over to Kelli's and participate along with the many others.
My Show & Tell for today is this little pale green hobnail pitcher and glasses set. The pitcher is only 4" tall and the glasses 2".
This is special to me because it was given to me by my real-life & blog-life friend, Kahri. Actually I had gone over to help Kahri clean her house one day and this was an item in her daughters room that they were going to throw away. I could just not bear the thought of throwing such a precious set away and asked if I could take it home with me!!!! It lives on my kitchen window sill with some plants and I treasure it.

For those of you who have been asking, and wondering, about Mickey's heart tests he had last Friday we have not heard one word yet. As soon as we hear anything I will let you all know. Thanks for all your interest & inquiries. That means a lot to us :o)

That is an adorable little set!! "One man's trash is another man's treasure," right? =)
I sure hope all Mickey's tests come out OK... and I hope you'll be able to find out soon. I know it's so hard to wait for those types of results!!!
Very cute set! I love miniatures! I understand why you didn't let them throw it out!
It's so small! The picture with the quarter really gives it perspective. Actually it makes the quarter look huge!
What a neat treasure! Thanks for sharing!

PS: I'm working on the meme you tagged me for!
I love this little set. It is so cute.
My prayers are still with Mickey and you.
Lovely set. I cannot believe that they were going to throw it out.

I hope alls well for Mickey, I've

Love hobnail! I've never seen green before. It's really pretty and I can imagine why you didn't want it thrown out. Yikes!

A lovely set! I would have wanted it, too. :)
I bet that makes you smile each time you see it! Especially with the sun backlighting it! It is too cute! Thank you for sharing-I hope life eases up on you!
The quarter was a great idea to show the actual size of the set. They are beautiful! Youa re absolutely right in saving them from being thrown out.
That is beautiful! I wouldn't have been able to see it tossed either, but I throw out almost nothing and give away or donate everything.
Praying for Mickey!

What a lovely set! Thanks for sharing!
Such a beautiful set! Very classy.
I don't know much about Mickey's heart test but I hope they come out okay. My Dad went through a lot of heart problems in the past and I know what a stressful time that can be. Best wishes.
