THE CROSS WALK

We complain about the cross we bear, but don't realize it is preparing us for the dip in the road that God can see and we cannot.

Whatever your cross, whatever your pain,
there will always be sunshine, after the rain...

Perhaps you may stumble, perhaps even fall;
But God's always ready to answer your call...

He knows every heartache, sees every tear,
a word from His lips, can calm every fear...

Your sorrows may linger, throughout the night,
But suddenly vanish, by dawn's early light...

The Savior is waiting, somewhere above,
to give you His grace, and send you His love.

May God fill your day with blessings!!

Be kinder than neceessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle!

I like this so much! Especially in the beginning, where it reminds us not to complain because it is preparing us for what is ahead, that we cannot see!

May God fill your day with many blessings, too, Susan!!

I agree. Regarding your last statement about kindness - we never know where a person is or where they have just been. We just never know ...

We are studying how to lay our burdens down in our Bible study. I think this would be a nice little hand out to share next week.

How is Mickey?

what a great poem. someone once told me - and it's stuck with me - that we all respond from our own point of pain. that has helped me realize that we're all facing our own personal battles that we usually don't see by just looking at someone.

thanks for sharing this.

Thank you for the reminder to be kind. I am having some trouble at work with a co-worker and it´s sometimes hard to be kind, but you gave me the needed encouragement. Thanks!
