JESUS IS BETTER

Merry Christmas Everyone!!

With little more than a week before Christmas REMEMBER --

Jesus is Better than Santa

Santa lives at the North Pole.
JESUS is everywhere.

Santa rides in a sleigh.
JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water.

Santa comes but once a year.
JESUS is an ever present help.

Santa fills your stockings with goodies.
JESUS supplies all your needs.

Santa comes down your chimney uninvited.
JESUS stands at your door and knocks..And then enters your heart.

You have to stand in line to see Santa.
JESUS is as close as the mention of His name.

Santa lets you sit on his lap.
JESUS lets you rest in His arms.

Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is, "Hi little boy or girl, What's your name?"
JESUS knew our name before we did. Not only does He know our name, He knows our address, too. He knows our history and future and He even knows how many hairs are on our heads.

Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly.
JESUS has a heart full of love.

All Santa can offer is Ho Ho Ho.
JESUS offers health, help and hope.

Santa says, "You better not cry.:
JESUS says, "Cast all your cares on me for I care for you."

Santa's little helpers make toys.
JESUS makes new life, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken homes and builds mansions.

Santa may make you chuckle but,
JESUS gives you joy that is your strength.

While Santa puts gifts under your tree.
JESUS became our gift and died on the tree.

It's obvious there is really no comparison.
We need to remember WHO Christmas is all about.

We need to put CHRIST back in CHRISTMAS..

JESUS is still the reason for the season.

May the LORD Bless and Watch over you and your loved ones this

CHRISTMAS - 2008.

May HE prosper and bless the work of your hands in the

NEW YEAR - 2009.

I read this somewhere last week and I love it! I always get a bit agitated when Santa gets more attention than Jesus. Only Jesus knows all, can do all, and the One who gives the perfect gift--Himself. He is the one to be honored above all else at Christmas and every day. Glory to His Name!

I love this! I got it from a friend via e-mail. I printed it out so everyone entering my house could be remembered. God bless you and yours this frosty morning!

If it wasn't for Jesus, there'd be no Christmas. It's a very special day indeed. :)

we always tried to teach our kids that santa was a man God put here on earth to help spread His love.

we all need to remember the reason for the season.

Santa Clause brought me many happy thoughts as a very young child but he was nothing compared to my Living Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Jesus is my everything!

I wanted to stop by and wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas. connie from Texas

I have always been worried about that, even since I was little. He knows our future, we are either doomed to hell or we are not. There is nothing we can do about it.

He has already decided, since the beginning of time, who is saved and who is not. He knows already. People who he has saved say they know about it.

Since I do not know, I must presume I am not saved. and there is absolutely nothing I can do about it.

Oh Maalie!!!! You are so mistaken. It is ALL up to you. Yes, God being God already knows the end from the beginning but He made us with free will so it is up to each and every individual to believe and accept or to deny. "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." Revelation 3:20

He is a gentleman, and He will never force Himself upon you, or anyone, but He loves you and He stands at that door and knocks....it truly is up to you whether you open that door or not. I pray that you will.

Re your comments and Maalies:

What I don't understand Susan is why some people are able to believe and some are not. Does the Holy Spirit deliberately keep some people from believing and make others accepting?
