A MUST READ - The Last Jihad

I don't know where I've been for the past 7 years to have missed this book. It was published in 2002!!!

Joy, of Joy in the burbs, recently recommended this author to me, after reading a few of my posts about my concern for our country, the road we are traveling down, and my concern about us having eyes to see and ears to hear. Thank you sooo very much Joy!!

I bought the book on February 2nd and finished reading it February 14th. I bought the next book in this series, The Last Days, which was published in 2003, and started it today. I think 5 books have been written so far. Believe me I will be purchasing and reading ALL of them.

It is fiction, but has an uncanny prophetic bent to it. If you are concerned about the things you see occurring in our country, feel that we are seeing many of the prophecies of the Bible being fulfilled and we are instructed in Luke 21:28 ".... when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh." then I think you will want to get and read this book.

Isn't it great to discover a new author and now the good part is you don't have to wait for the next installment.

I've heard of this title but have never read it. I will add it to my list of "must reads". I think we all need to better understand the times we live in.

I have heard of this book. I just got through reading America in Prophecy (for the second time). I'm amazed at how things are shaping up so fast that are right in line with prophecy. I think these definitely are the end times.

Susan, I have never heard of this book either. I'll have to look for it.

I've been trying to read The Shack, have you read it? I started the middle of January and still haven't finished it. I wanted to see what everybody was talking about!

Jeesh! You read that book in only about twelve days! I think I know the book you are talking about, and that isn't a small book either. Were do you get the time to read, blog, and do other stuff that everyone does in thier daily lives? I can barely get through school, guitar practice, drama practice, and know I have ballet to do as well. Oh and can't forget catechism either. Man, I wish I had time to read a big book in only twelve days too!=)

these books were recommended to my husband because he enjoys this genre. he has two (including the one shown here on your post) on his shelf and is anxious to start reading them after he finishes the series he's currently reading.

I love that verse Susan. I think that we can only discern these perilous times when we are 'looking up' and praying.

Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. (Colossians 3:2-3)

Hi Susan,
I came back to get the name of this book again. Also, just wondering if you are watching Glenn Beck on FoxNews tonight (9 p.m. here) He is giving worse case senario's of what could happen. I'm wondering if these predictions are near what the author of this book predicts.

You lost me on those numbers! I hate numbers and math!! LOL!
