SHOW & TELL #4 - New Necklace

Happy Friday every one. Time for Show & Tell at Kelli's. Go here and share your Show & Tell and visit all the other fun and interesting things that other's are showing today.

I just recently saw a necklace that a friend of mine had of The Messianic Seal of the Jerusalem Church. Then she loaned me a book about this symbol being found in more recent years.

I had never seen this seal or even been aware of it.

Last Sunday evening our church had a Messianic Jew come and present a presentation of the Seder. It is the 3rd time Mickey & I have been privileged to attend a Seder meal and be taught the significance of all the parts of the Passover Meal and how it all relates to Christ.

The gentlemen who did the presentation had a table set up where he had a few books and other things he was selling after the dinner. My friend, Sandra, came over to me and said, "Did you see the Messianic Seal necklace?" I hadn't even looked at the table or anything on it.

My beautiful new Messianic Seal necklace I bought.

The Jewish Menorah (candlestick)

The Star of David

The Christian Fish

I am so happy with this symbolic piece and it is a treasure to me I wanted to share.

Thank you for visiting my Show & Tell.

Beautiful necklace, and wonderful story behind it.

I signed your guest book, but it did not put me on the map in N Ireland, but don't know how to fix that!

I haven't seen anything like that before, but it's beautiful.

I've never attended a Seder, but I really, really enjoyed the Beth M study I did last year - Jesus, the One and Only. She gave much detail about the parts of Passover and it relating to Christ. I found it all so interesting. I have way too many books I want to read, but I'll have to look this one up on my free book site!

Have a wonderful weekend!!

That is a beautiful necklace with so much meaning. I had some friends a few years ago give me a similar necklace when they returned from a trip to Israel. It is just silver but the same symbal. Thank you for visiting my blog. I have read Hinds Feet on High Places and I love it. I have a copy of it on my bookcast:) Have a lovely day! Elena

Oh, Susan, the necklace is beautiful, I would have bought one too! The Jewish symbols and backgrounds are so interesting, I've often wondered why some churches got away from a lot of this.
