"And they said one to another,
Did not our heart burn within us,
While he talked with us along the way
And while he opened to us the
Scriptures?"
Luke 24:32
I am so thankful that I have THE BIBLE - THE LIVING WORD to speak to my burning heart today. "But his word was in my heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones." Jeremiah 20:9b

Such a powerful picture and verse. Thank you for sharing today!
Amen.
Wow, great image to go with that strong message.
I posted "The Stew Story"- it's not nearly as direct, but it gives us something to think about.
Jeremiah 20:9b
One of my all time favorites!
Quite a powerful image to think of when feeling like a dying ember! Sometimes I have to remind myself to keep the flame burning, as a fire unattended will become nothing but ashes!
Blessings to you!
Mary
This is a great verse and the picture, they are both powerful.
God Bless,
Ginger
"The Word of the Lord remains forever..." May that fire keeps burning. God bless.

Oh, Susan. I have so missed your blog. As I started blogging again, and then reading those I used to follow, I realized how much I missed my fellow bloggers. It has been almost a year. I have missed the laughter, tears and insipration. You in particular are always an inspiration. I am glad to be back in blogland. Thank you as always for your beautiful and thought-provoking posts.
Blessings,
Michelle
