YOU ARE SOMEONE SPECIAL IN MY LIFE
I shared yesterday about our wonderful Sabbath but I forgot part of it!!!!
At the end of service we were each given 2 of these blue ribbons that read:
You Are Someone Special In My Life
They have a sticky strip on the back side. We were to go to someone in the congregation that was Special to us and put it on their shirt or blouse.
The second one we were to take with us and give to someone during this week outside the church and invite them to come to church with us.
So as part of blog world I thought it would be fun for us to do that here!!!
I am passing 2 of these ribbons along to one person in blog land and inviting you in turn to pass 2 on to a person in blog land who is special to you, etc. etc.
Please tell us who you passed it on to and what makes them Special In Your Life
Kathy of A Field Lily I am passing these two ribbons to you.
Kathy of A Field Lily I am passing these two ribbons to you.
Please keep one for yourself and pass the other on to someone special to you.
Kathy, You Are Someone Special In My Life because of your gentle, sweet spirit and your incredible love for Jesus our Lord and that you share that love with us.
I am blessed. You are Special.

Susan, how blessed I am! Truly touched! Yours was the first blog I read this morning, and your kind words beat any cup of coffee around! : ) I was thinking when I read it how God wants us to know FIRST THING how special we are to HIM, and today, His thoughts came through you. Thank you, and I can't wait to pass them on! Love and Blessings.-Kathy
Beautiful idea!!!
what a great idea, susan. maybe your post will spur the rest of us to let others know that they are special to us. we shouldn't need a ribbon to pass that message on. and what a powerful message it is.
I love this idea! and then your creativity added to the specialness by sharing it this way on your blog. In these days of negative news and troublesome times, it's so nice to stop and really think about who is important and special to us (next to Christ of course) and let them know. That is so very important!
I do hope that everyone in the congregation got one for as we know all are special to someone.
Susan, my award went to Nancy at Day by Day. I've posted it about it at my blog. Much love!-Kathy
Thank you Susan! What fun...I left a card on my site for you and Kathy a real pair of sweethearts to be sure!

Well, I can only hope that there was nobody left who didn't get one, or they could be traumatised for life!
Oh Maalie - I did not get one and I assure you I was not, and am not, traumatised!!! One lady had so many she looked that a general with all their ribbons!!!
Susan
