MY BEAUTIFUL LIFE
Do you remember the old song, "Count your blessings, name them one by one. Count your many blessings see what God hath done."? I have to just sing this song because that is my life!!!! And, most important, it's what HE hath done....surely not anything we have done.
Mickey cleaning the exterior of our 5th wheel one year after having double bi-pass heart surgery!!! He was also up on the roof cleaning it, too, but I didn't get a picture of that. What a blessing! These beautiful mums blooming in our back yard. At the end of spring we were at a farm & garden store getting some of the last geraniums for our yard. Because it was the end of the season and getting HOT a lot of the plants were in terrible shape. They had these, almost dead mums. for $1 each so we bought a bunch of them (I also have some in the front yard). Not only did they revive but just look at the fullness and beauty of them. What a blessing!
These beautiful climbing roses have been blooming all summer and their beauty still blesses me even in October with fall coming on. What a blessing!

One of the biggest blessings in our lives are our family and friends. Sunday was our 51st anniversary and we didn't make a big to do about it and didn't mention it to any one ahead of time but.......Friday night our friends Don & Barbara invited us over for chili and Sopa Paraguay. Don makes the absolutely best chili in the world and this new corn bread recipe was divine. Saturday night our friends Jack & Mary invited us, and 2 other couples, to a wonderful gourmet dinner like Mary always prepares and the 8 of us had a wonderful time. Sunday my love took me out to dinner after church to Santa Fe Cattle Company. Last night, Monday, our daughter, Suzette, and son-in-love, Dave, had us over for one of Suzette's specialities, creamy, cheesy Chicken Tetrazzini, YUM. What a blessing, blessing, blessing & blessing!!!!
AND, the Lord is giving me that desire of my heart to open up our home for a weekly Friday night prayer gathering. What a blessing!
Yes, I indeed "Count my many blessings and name them one by one. Count my many blessings see what God hath done. "
Trust you are counting your blessings today.

Isn't it unbelievable how beautiful and full plants can become even though they started off straggly? Show them some love and care and they repay you tenfold!!
