BLESSING & GIVING - 3rd Day Sister's

Our 3rd Day Sister's Bible Study, that meet on Tuesday nights, did not meet for several weeks due to Christmas & New Years. All 8 of us were having withdrawals because we missed our study & each other so much. While in Wal*ly Wor*ld I saw this cute, gold glittery word "Hope" and decided I wanted to get one for each of us for this years word for our group.

Sorry the pictures so bad, but you get the idea.

I typed out and added this verse on the bottom of each of them: "So speak encouraging words to one another. Build up hope so you'll all be together in this, no one left out, no one left behind. I know you're already doing this, just keep on doing it." I Thessalonians 5:9 The Message

I added the date so they'd remember when they'd gotten this little token of my love for them.
Toward the end of the meeting Debbie came over and said, "What is the January 29th for?" I said, "Just so you'll know and remember when you got them." Well.....guess what???? It was the 19th not the 29th!!!!!! Oh well, they can also remember how many mistakes I can & do make!!!

We were also blessed with these:

Rapture Road key chain from Anne & Metal-Bead Cross Book Marks from Wantha.
An added blessing on our first meeting in 2010 was Cindy joining us as a new member. Welcome Cindy!!!We didn't actual have a study this first meeting in the New Year but shared all the exciting things that God was doing in our lives and showing us. It was, as always, a wonderful Tuesday Bible Study with lots of laughter, crying & hugs.
I am blessed!!!

Oh Susan, that is so wonderful. You know what, I'M having withdrawals from the group, and I'm not even IN it!!! : ) I love you all with the Lord's love, and it thrills me to pieces to imagine my sisters getting together and having such a wonderful time in the Lord. I guess I would say, pay attention to January 29TH!! Who knows what the Lord has planned. I would say it's a day to pray in, and just enjoy the Lord.

I'm so glad you were able to gather again. It's such a blessing to spend time with those sisters!
I just started a Beth Moore study last week. It's one on Esther and I'm looking forward to our second gathering tonight!

Susan, if blog friends have never met you before in person, they may not know what a 'hoot' you are. We had to get the tissues out because we were laughing so hard that night as you read about your dreams to us. We had a lot of fun and always do.

What a wonderful group to be a part of. You are very blessed to have these women in your life. I am not in a group right now but have a wonderful group of christian women friends that get together on an informal basis every week or two. I too feel so blessed to have so many of them in my life!

Talk about withdrawals - I am having it quite bad :) but you gave me a good idea. Tokens of love :)

Mistake? More like a very good excuse for not forgetting what they are for :)

That is so neat! You guys are really blessed of the Lord to have each other and that time you spend together. That was so sweet that you wrote out the verse for each one like that. Indeed a labor of love, mistake and all!

I just love your group and so wish I was a part of it. You know I would be if I lived closer!

Your gift is so sweet. What a blessing for all of your dear friends.

Hey, I just posted a FB link to Lindsey's photos and said it was her first wedding of 2011. Oops! My UK friend caught my error and teased me that time must pass slower where she lives, haha. Yes, we are human :D

You really do sound blessed...what a great study group you have!

How is your weather there? On the news this morning it didn't look too good for your area.

You catch on quickly, don't you?!!! I was just noticing your reply to Sandra and how you've already picked up on the FB style of writing. But that is so typical of you. You are young beyond your years, girl!! And that's just one of the many things I love about you! That, and your sense of humor. Sandra is so right when she says you are a 'hoot'! I hope you know what a blessing YOU are to the rest of us in our 3rd Day Sisters group! We could all take lessons from you on how to enjoy life.

Your blog on The Name Game made me laugh. Susizzle? Bluekitty? See you next week, Turquoise Coffee!! LOL!

Oh my, the world keeps getting smaller. My family and Wantha Ann's family used to get together at the Hatfield house when our children were little!!!

I meet with a Wed. night study group and it is such a blessing to spend time with each other and the Lord. So I know how much you enjoy yours and much you miss meeting. Like your verse you chose.

What a neat idea the share with everyone. The typo on the date was just showing everyone that He is our hope today AND for the future!
