JUST IN CASE - say "I love you!"
Saw this and just have to share it because the message is so very important.
One day a woman's husband died, and on that clear, cold morning, in the warmth of their bedroom, the wife was struck with the pain of learning that sometimes there isn't "anymore."
No more hugs, no more special moments to celebrate together, no more phone calls just to chat, no more "just one minute."
Sometimes, what we care about the most gets all used up and goes away, never to return before we can say good-by, say "I love you."
So while we have it, it's best we love it, care for it, fix it, when it's broken and heal it when it's sick.
This is true for marriage... and old cars, and children with bad report cards, and dogs with bad hips, family and aging parents and grandparents. We keep them because they are worth it.....because we are worth it.
Some things we keep -- like a best friend who moved away or a sister-in-law after divorce. There are just some things that make us happy, no matter what.
Life is important. We only have one.
We only have one mom,. one dad, one unique brother or sister or friend.
Suppose one morning you never wake up.
I was thinking...I could die today, tomorrow or next week, and I wondered if I had any wounds needing to be healed, friendships that needed rekindling or three words needing to be said.
Let everyone of your friends and family know you love them.
And just in case GOD calls me home ...

This is so true. I want to thank you for sharing this.
I thank GOD for each day that he has given me to say those words to my love ones.
A wonderful admonition. Thank you.
Thank you for another great post.
That is one reminder we can never hear enough! So that said, remember my dear sister in Christ, that I love and care for you!
Very good reminder!
Absolutely true and we should all try to say that to those we love every day. Thanks for that!
That is so very true, Susan, and I'm glad you posted this to remind us!! xoxo
Yes, a bit of time taken to let someone know they are special is one of the greatest things we can do.
Great post Susan. This is something we need frequent reminders on!
It's a wake up call every time I read this.
I love you, too!
Thanks for that reminder. Sometimes we get so caught up in the daily routine that those 3 little words get pushed aside.
Yes, Susan, that is so important! I try to always tell hubby every morning b 4 he leaves for work and, when we say good night. Youngest daughter has followed example and sometimes just calls so she can tell us she loves us, even 3 x's /day! LOL But very true ... thanks for sharing!
PS. I once heard someone explain love as... even if you are upset at someone, and they needed something you could help them with, and you would, that's how you know if you love that person. Love is many times a choice. As Christians, we are called to love, it is a commandment. Many times there are those we have to ask the Father to give us love for .... just an added thought.
A great message Susan. We all need a reminder from time to time.
All I can say is that this made me teary. It is so, so true.
Very good reminder, Susan. Thank you for that post. Earlier tonight I had one of those moments where I just stopped and inhaled the sight before my eyes: my husband and I, and our son just talking. It was breathtaking.
