PINEWOOD DERBY - Year 2
I'm sure all of you with a son or grandson are familiar with Pinewood Derbys.
The Royal Rangers held their annual Pinewood Derby Race last night.
Aric, Marc & the usual, "don't want my picture taken" Oksana.
Aric & his dad taking in the action.
Another with Oksana "hiding".
Aric's car last year won a 2nd place ribbon. His car this year did not win so naturally he was a little disappointed. As we told him, "There is always next year. Try and do better next year." A good learning opportunity that we can not always be the winners but we can always do our best and have a good time in the process.

Nice car! It's always a fun thing to do, even when you don't win! I think it's great that the whole family came along for support!
Pinewood Derby races are so much fun. It's a great time for boys and their dads and granddads.
Such a fun event. Dave used to work with the young boys at our church and the pinewood derby night was a highlight for sure!!!
That looks like so much fun! I'm so proud of Aric for trying, and how nice to have the blessing and encouragement of the entire family, even the ones that try to hide from the camera! : ) She's too pretty. No more hiding! : )
Tell Marc & his beautiful bride that we are praying. Jesus did it, and He can continue to do anything they need as a new family. He is really Lord of all.
Blessings & hugs, KATHY
Hey, that looks fun :-)
I remember by brothers participating in those many years ago!
Aric should be proud of his accomplishments.
Tell Oksana she's too beautiful to be hiding like that!
A big congrats to Aric for his 2nd place finish. The Pinewood Derby is a great event for dads and lads to work on a common project. My 9yr old son just finished his Pinewood Derby season and we're allready looking forward to next year.
