BLUEBERRIES

I was blessed with being given 2 large bags of fresh, just picked, blueberries. YUM!!
I love eating them on my cereal with milk for breakfast and have been doing that BUT one must make Blueberry Muffins!

The recipe is from the lady who gave me the blueberries.
CAFE BLUEBERRY MUFFINS
2 C flour
3 t baking powder
1/2 t salt
3/4 C milk
1/3 C butter
1 C blueberries
2/3 C sugar
2 eggs
Mix ingredients & bake at 425 degrees for 18-20 minutes
Makes 12 muffins
Two of my favorite people eating hot, out of the oven muffins.....with butter of course.

The evidence

I'm not really saluting...I was wiping the sweat (excuse me - prespiration!) from my brow!! But these muffins do deserve a salute.

Oh, those muffins look so yummy! I'm going to copy the recipe down. Thanks for sharing it.

On your comment about the Kiddie Park - back when my kids were growing up, the tickets were only 10 cents. It was (and still is) an inexpensive way to have a lot of fun with the little ones.

Blue berries, in fact most berries are foreign to us. I have seen frozen blue berries if I do see it again your muffins have convinced me to buy it and try your recipe.

Your photos and recipe make me want to go make blueberry muffins! Love 'em. Haven't had blueberry cobbler, so I will look forward to the recipe.

Thanks for coming to my blog and signing up to be a follower. I will enjoy following your blog as well. I also have enjoyed reading your other blog.

Just made some this week. I have a favorite recipe that never fails to please!

Dave has a friend who has blueberry fields and it's almost time to pick. Can't wait to get a ton of them. Dave has blueberry pancakes every weekend and I love them fresh in my hand or in my yogurt. They are so healthy for us!

YUM! I've recently discovered that I love a few frozen blueberries when it is really hot outside. They're like a very small tart popsicle and very refreshing.

PS- I'm the same Tracy as from Unless the LORD; I needed a fresh start!

Add a cup of tea and you've got a good think going on. :) I hope you are well. It seems my days on the blogs are few and far between.

Blueberries are so yummy - I would love to have some fresh picked ones! I love muffins, but baking in the summer is not something I enjoy!

Groovy made us blueberry buckle with fresh Maine berries when we were out there last fall. Yumm!!

We love blueberries, but can you believe my kids won't try blueberry pancakes? LOL

I just froze 4 lbs of blueberries and I'm not sure it is going to be enough for the winter! :)

Oh my YUM! I want some! I love blueberries! Love them! In fact I've been eating a handful in the mornings with a glass of ice cold milk. It's a little piece of heaven on a hot day. I am absolutely going to try this. I confess that my blue berry muffins have all been Martha White mixes. My family loves it, but this looks too good to pass up. :) ~Blessings my friend!
