Holding Hands

I got this picture from Michelle and thought it said so much I wanted to share it and pass it along. If you want to do the same just leave a comment to let me know when you do!
Holding Hands

This picture shows a line of little girls holding hands facing the immensity of ocean waves.

Alone they might be washed away, but together they stand strong.

Thank you for holding my hand somewhere along the way when I was facing a wave of my own.
I hope you will reach for my hand when your own wave threatens.

All of us girls...

Old and young...

Near and far...

Hold special memories of good times we've shared.

We've had our share of hard times when our friends were there to make us feel better.

We've shared...

our hearts
our time

our secrets

our fears

our hopes

and our dreams.

Let us never break the chain of friends!
I thank all of you who I didn't even know 7 short weeks ago. My how my life has been enriched by each and every one of you! ((hugs)) to you all!!!!

An endearing picture , that one. To me, it says, "we are going to be friends no matter where we go, no matter where we are, no matter what we do and that's that."

God bless!

Yes, I saw this on another blog also. It meant a lot to me. It reminded me of the friends I hold dear, that most certainly includes those I have made on my blog of which you are one. connie from Texas, Thanks.

awww haha :) You are going to make me cry! Thank you so much for those sweet comments. I am so thankful for you and how you've touched my life so far. You are surely a silver-haired beauty inside and out (I didn't have to put silver-haired in there - but I liked that description you had for yourself) and your children are so blessed to have you as a mom! and now your grandbabies are blessed to have you as grandma! (what do they call you?)

God can use anything for the good of those that love Him can't He? - even the Internet!!

I'm so thankful our paths have crossed - and I look forward to learning lots more lessons from you! I hope you have a great Monday!

Nice seeing you on my blog. I love that you are silver haired (as you put it) and blogging. You seem like a pistol!

So are we holding hands or keyboards in the blogging pic. :-)

Lovely poem and the picture is so sweet.
Yes we bloggers are a support to one another. Isn't that great, and just imagine, we have never actually met. The computer world can be an awesome place!

Zettabyte

A wild rambling rose of a woman,
with a smoky smile and jaunty hips.
Tan as a summer's day.

Brisk, bracing, brusque.
Like a March wind.

Cool air pours off a sheer blue glacier.

Ice lipped steel bergs
Way down under...

Pieces of the sky
scattered over the glassy waters of a lake.

Mirror world lake reflected.
A reflex action.
A world dopplegangered.
One twin clear and sure.
The other rippled by winds of fate and chance.
