BLOGGER REFLECTION AWARD

Jill at Who Could Ask For Anything More just nominated me with the Reflection Blogger Award. Thanks Jill I truly am honored to receive this one.

This award was started by a teenage girl. Go here to read more about her.

This is how she describes her award: As for my award, it is called

The Blogger Reflection Award.

Why? The reason for the title is because this award should make you reflect on five bloggers who have been an encouragement, a source of love, impacted you in some way, and have been a Godly example to you. Five Bloggers who when you reflect on them you get a sense of pride and joy...of knowing them and being blessed by them. This award is for the best-of-the-best so consider who you pick, carefully. This award should not be given to just anyone. If you're going to do the award don't just write a few words and slap it on your blog. Write real thoughts about these bloggers and what they've been to you, and if the bloggers you pick have already been given the award, don't be afraid to give to them again. They deserve it as many times as it's given.

This is what Jill said as to my nomination:

Susan at Penless Writer: Every time I read her posts I feel like she's sitting next to me in a cozy chair telling me a story. I love her colorful words, her deep faith and her inspiring stories of courage and optimism, even when life doesn't always go your way. The stories of her travels are fascinating, and let's not forget the whole hot-air balloon thing! :o)

Here are my five nominations:

Leigh Ann at Living to Learn & Learning to Live: Leigh Ann fits this Award to a T. She is a source of love and encouragement to everyone. Who else would be celebrating her own birthday on the 10th of this month by blessing 10 other bloggers with a gift she draws out of her famous Kasey Kahne hat every day!!!! Leigh Ann is witty beyond belief, kind, thoughtful and mature beyond her young years. She is an inspiring wife and mother of 3 young children and handles it all with charm & grace.

Jennifer of Pen-of-Jen: Jennifer tells it like it is. She is passionate, bold and very informed about social and world issues. She is also passionate about her Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, and her family. She is a home-school-mom with 3 sons & 1 daughter - all teenagers!!!! Everything she writes makes you think, whether you want to or not. She is a true defender of the faith and of America. You inspire me every day, Jennifer with your well written and thought-out posts.

Danny at The Bumbling Genius: Put on your thinking cap even before you venture near Danny's blog because he is another one that forces you to think and think deep!
Danny truly is a Genius and the Bumbling is a cover-up!!!! I have to read his excellent posts through at least 2 times to get the depth of what is being said. He is a fairly new read for me but one I'm sure not to ever miss.

Amy of Nesting for Natalie: Amy is a new read for me but boy am I glad I found her!
You just have to go and get acquainted with this mom of 5 grown children who has been married for 24 years. But the one you really have to meet is their adorable little China doll named Jane who Amy and her husband just adopted. Amy is a wonderful writer and brings me to tears with her posts. Her love and joy for children just oozes out. Amy and her husband are truly walking out the love of God on a daily basis.

Kelli of There Is No Place Like Home: As far as I'm concerned Kelli's idea to host a weekly SHOW & TELL every Friday is by far the best of this type of participation blog there is. It is just a delight to see all the wonderful things that are shown each and every week by a host of bloggers near and wide who sign up with her Mr. Linky to bless us. The rest of the week she inspires us with the specialness she places on her home in cooking, decor, and entertaining.
All five of these bloggers fit the description of a REFLECTIVE BLOGGER and deserve this award. If they are new to you be sure and check them out for yourselves. Again, thank you Jill for giving me this award and honor.
===========================================
Just a reminder: Please go over to Kailani's site at An Island Life and vote for Aisha, Lori and I for the Bloggy Hoss Award. THANKS!!! We want to win :o)
You can vote once a day.

I am in complete agreement with Jill and the others - you and your blog have a way of making us all feel right at home, like we're sitting around the table talking.

Your optism in life and your 'go get em' attitude is an inspiration to me.
