DREAMIN' MEME

My sweet friend, Myrna, of Cherish the Word tagged me for a Dreamin' meme. Since I haven't done this one and since I love dreamin' I am happy to join in and list some of my dreams. I find it hard to distinguish between dreamin' and believing for things so mine may turn out to be more believing.

#1. To see ALL of my 4 children serving the Lord with their whole heart and soul.

This is not only my #1 dream but my #1 prayer and my stand of faith. Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. And

"Faith is believing in advance what will only make sense in reverse".

#2. To continue to live to a very ripe old age in very good health both physically, mentally and emotionally.

#3. To meet some of my blogging friends.

#4. To lose 30 lbs. Now this one probably really is a dream!!!! I like to eat too much and all our socializing is around food and going out to eat.

#5. To be used of God to reach out and encourage and minister to others, especially women.

#6. To be completely and totally out of debt. This is one that every time we get close it seems like something happens.......like having to buy a new car last week very unexpectedly!!!! :o)

I'm not going to tag anyone for this meme personally but I'd love to see what those of you that read my blog are Dreamin' about and believing for. If you choose to play along please tell me in your comment so I can be sure and read your dream list.

Dreams about debt, weight, and children--Just go with life don't they! I enjoyed reading all of your dreams. I agree dreams are closely akin to prayers and beliefs.

Thanks you fo rplaying along. Have a great day!

Hmmm, I dream of looking like I did before I was married with children. (weight of course) This CAN be achieved if I am willing to work hard at it.

I dream of visiting Europe some day. (YEAH right, I doubt that one will ever happen)

I dream of going to a 3rd world country and actually be able to help.

I dream of living on a huge farm and grow all my own food!!

I dream of learning to play the piano and learning to sew. This is more of a dream because of time.

I dream of being a Proverbs 31 woman who can do it all!

Most of my dreams are tucked deep within my heart and I don't share them with anyone.

The one dream that I hang on to tightly is that some day I might have grandchildren who live close enough for Dave and I to love on and adore. Only the Lord knows if this is in His plan. We've talked quite extensively about this and my hope remains in Him.

Maybe sometime other dreams will unfold for you to learn, but for now they will remain within my heart.

Living to a ripe old age. Hmmm...as a breast cancer survivor of almost 12 years, I changed my perspective on age (I'm thankful for each day...I don't think too much beyond "living in the present moment"), although one of my dreams did come true, I saw my boys through safe passage into adulthood--they are now 20 and 25 (they were 9 and 14 when I was diagnosed). Praise God--great things He has done! I'm blessed!

Blessings,

Connie

Nice answers. I just did a similar meme so won't participate in this one. I noticed that we both have the same Prayer 'dream' for our first answer. Salvation for all of our loved ones.
Yes Lord, we believe!

I love this meme and I hope I get a chance to do it soon.

Those are many of my dreams, too, Susan!! #2 and #6 are really hard for me though, because I soothe my emotions with food and shopping. Until I can stop doing both of those things, losing weight and becoming debt free are more like pipe dreams, unfortunately...

I'm sure you have accomplished #5, you are a very inspiring woman!

Amen to #6, me too, me too!

Susan,

Like you I dream of losing weight. And I am afraid I love to cook, and I am pretty good at it...too bad! It is a dream!

I I also dream my children will love God with all their hearts and serve him all their days.

And I dream of travel....love it!

Great list, Susan. I would have many of the same things on mine. By the way, I LOVE YOUR NEW LOOK!! Since I've been out cruising and vacationing, I haven't been able to surf. What a blessing Leigh Ann is!!

Thank you for continuing to visit even though I'm not returning visits right now. I hope to check in more frequently during the next few weeks of my travels.

Hugs!!
