REMEMBERING 9-11-01 & PRAYING
This post is a re-print of my post from last September 11th.
This year, with the very close and extremely important election we have looming in just 54 days, it is imperative for us to pay attention to the issues and the candidates then
PRAY & VOTE.
This banner says it all for me and in the proper order.
I BELIEVE IN GOD
I BELIEVE IN PRAYER
I BELIEVE IN AMERICA
I believe
"If my people, which are called by my name,
shall humble themselves,
and pray,
and seek my face,
and turn from their wicked ways:
THEN will I hear from heaven,
and will forgive their sin,
and will heal their land.:
II Chronicles 7:14
This is OUR GOD speaking to us, HIS BODY, today!!!! We are called by his name, praise God.....that's why we are called CHRISTIANS. We must humble ourselves
...that means taking ourselves off the throne and putting CHRIST there, and we must PRAY. Then comes the kicker....AND TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS!
that's US He's talking to fellow CHRISTIAN
this TURNING from our WICKED WAYS has to be DONE
then
I will hear from heaven
I will forgive their sin
I will heal their land.
I am aware that there are people, other than American citizens that read this blog.
This verse and promise is for you and your lands, too.
Even though we are concentrating on the US today because of it being 9-11.
I am aware of the need of ALL lands needing to heed this
and invite all CHRISTIANS to join us today and tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow, and TOMORROW, until we DO the above requirements
and see our LANDS healed.
(please enlarge & note the Angel below)
This is a picture of our flag flying, not only today but every day.
I trust that all of you will put your flag out if you haven't already.
I trust as we drive around today we will see MANY homes and businesses
flying the flag and remembering 9-11-01.
LEAST WE EVER FORGET!!!
This goes for whatever Country you are from - please fly your flag today and join us in this tribute.
GOD BLESS AMERICA
LAND OF THE BRAVE
AND THE FREE!!!!
We have to stay brave or we will lose our freedom.

I say Amen too!
My flag is flying!
You have a really pretty home.
Thanks for the reminder - I'm ashamed to say that it didn't even dawn on me what day this was. We pray at every meal for our soldiers in Iraq and around the world (we have a couple of cousins who were there and are safe at home now).
Amen! Once again a great post Susan!
Praise God, Susan!! I love that scripture for all the wisdom it has and what we should do!
Great thoughts! Today is a day that should never be forgotten.
My flag is flying :)
Amen & Amen; God bless you susan...
congratulations
on winning a prize on Daddy's blog ;o]
Wonderful post, it's a day that will never be forgotten. God bless the men and women who lost their life that day.
I found your blog thru lilylake. Remembering today and all our brave men and women who lost their lives that awful day.
Great post and picture!
God bless America
this is a very nice post, susan. i liked how you included readers from other countries. we should feel as though we are all united, through Christ.
i was looking forward to seeing flags everywhere, but i've hardly seen any. disappointing :(
Thanks for this post Susan. My parents in law were in the States on holiday when this happened and we didn't know what was going to happen at that point and there was upheaval in LAX where they were headed. I love that the flags are placed outside houses in the USA. I'd never been aware of it before until I saw a USA TV Series. I think it is awesome!
Amen Susan!
To everything, amen!

The day our world changed will never be forgotten. Many Canadians had family and friends working in the Twin Towers so we truly shared the fear and horror our fellow American compatriots were going through. I've lit a candle in memory of all the victims from that horrible day. xox
Thanks for the nice comment you left on my blog. I had seen your 911 tribute post, but forgot to comment on it. I'm glad so many bloggers posted a tribute. We can't let that horrendous act be forgotten, or we will forget what we are fighting for.
Unfortunately some have already forgotten.
"God Bless America"...
Thank you, Susan, for your beautiful and moving post. Today (9/11) I too took the opportunity to remember and pray, and I also gave that gift to my son through his history and Bible lessons today. (See my blog for more details if you'd like - http://onemomspurpose.blogspot.com/)
Blessings all,
Michelle
Just beautiful Susan! Your home and flag and the angel of course, make for a welcoming, homey feeling. I love America!and I love Patriotic Americans!
Amen. Thank you, Susan.
Amen! Preach it, sister!
Beautifully put Susan!
Our land needs healing so badly. It is going to take a lot of humility to get us where we need to be!
Blessings,
Sue
I am glad I stumbled on to your blog. I am a christian also and a grandma to 4. You have a very inspirational site...thank you!
Excellent tribute. Thank you.
Thank you for your inspirational post. I enjoyed reading it. There is a film about all the miracles that happened at 9/11. http://www.miraclefilms.com/ WE will never forget 9/11.
Amen!
Let's not forget ...

p.s. Thank you for the award - I passed it along today.
i'm sure i will notice flags today, flying proudly.
but i'm also enjoying visiting blogs that pay some kind of tribute to the this day and to our country.
God bless America.
I am flying my flag, here at my home and on my blog.
I love this post, Susan, and love your patriotism coupled with your love for Christ. That's how it should be for those of us who are Christians. If God is in all we do, then He will be our focus even when we vote.
I love this post.
GREAT post, and I loved the photo. I would like to start flying our flag everyday. We always did at our home when I was growing up =)
Hi Susan,
I am encouraged when I read all the comments left today on your blog ...encouraged and see that we are remembering! Thank you for remembering and reminding us all not to forget.
Beautiful.
Susan, I reposted something I wrote two years ago on the 5th anniversary...
Hugs,
~Tammy
Great post! I am praying and can't wait to vote this year!!
I certainly can't forget Sept. 11. I walked home through a haze of dust and little bits of paper floating through the air, wondering if my apartment would be accessible. Fortunately it was. When I was awakened by a thunderstorm two days later in the middle of the night, I thought it was bombs, maybe someone was blowing up the Brooklyn Bridge. But despite our fears and grief, most New Yorkers did not respond with bloodthirsty calls for revenge as so many people in this country did. I was inspired to read more books about the Middle East and learn the truth, which is seldom reported fully in our newspapers and certainly never on TV.
