6 MEME

I have been tagged by Nancy to list six unimportant things/habits/quirks about myself.
These are the rules: (1) Link to the person that tagged you. (2) Post the rules on your blog. (3) Share six non-important things/habits/quirks about yourself. (4) Tag six random people at the end of your post by linking to their blogs. (5) Let each random person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their website.

1. I ALWAYS cry when given a card with a sweet, meaningful message from a family member or a friend.
2. My father was 52 years old when I was born.
3. I started school at 5 years old, and graduated at 16.
4. I always make my bed and do the dishes.
5. I am a terrible back seat driver!!! (and my husband hates it)
6. I am very thrifty and have to shop for the best buy and price.

The 6 people I tag are: Larissa, Weaver Mom, Retha, Lyndy, & Jeanette. I'll look forward to getting to know you a little better by reading your 6 things.

Quirky? Or normal! Bill often just has me drive!

Susan,

Since I have had Jane in my forties it was very interesting to hear your father had you in his fifties!

My husband also hates my backseat driving. I do try to not clutch at the door (and he is such a great driver, never risks anything!)

i've been tagged for this one, too. i'm having a hard time figuring out what is quirky and what is normal. thanks for sharing yours. i'm a backseat driver, too - bad habit for me.

Yup, I make my bed everyday and do the dishes as well.

I'm not a back seat driver, but I do help David with his driving quiet often, hehe.

Yes ma'am I am a backseat driver too. I brake more than my DH does when he's behind the wheel. And yet, he's a good driver. Just my silly stuff.

I've been tagged for this one, too. I must get busy! I'm having a hard time figuring out what constitutes "quirky."

Those sound like very good things to me. God bless you Susan. I am glad you were born. connie from Texas

ha! What's a car ride without a good backseat driver? My husband hates my "help", too. I have managed to stop gripping the dashboard and sucking in my breath.

I've finally learned to bite my tongue and say nothing. It's hard though!

Hugs!

Oh, my! It must be a female thing. Do we all fight backseat driving? I don't say anything anymore but I still clutch the door like Merideth and stomp on the 'brake' like Susan.

Why do we do that?

I always enjoy reading these posts and just learning more about you - and those aren't too quirky!

Susan,

I always love learning more about you but these sound pretty normal to me…guess I am quirky too. (lol) It is so hard not be a backseat driver isn’t it? ;-)

Thanks for the tag, I will be posting mine later today.

Hugs, Lyndy

How sweet. I love getting to know my blogging friends better :)

P.S. I identify on that back-seat driver issue... although I do my back seat driving from the front passenger side!

This was so much fun to read and learn more about you.
We have a few things in common.
I am a very thrifty shopper too.
I also make my bed and do the dishes everyday too.
I think my husband at times would say I'm a bad back seat driver too.

I'm just like you on #1!! I often tear up when I am writing letters or messages in cards too. I enjoyed this list, Susan.

What I want to know is if you cry when a stranger or enemy gives you a card with a sweet, meaningful message?

Well its so nice to get to know you a little better. Like you, I need to have my dishes sone and bed made. I hate a messy counter top and I have to keep my floors clean too.
I've never been a backseat driver though although my kids might say differently. LOL

Love your little quirks. I need some of those...like always making the bed and doing the dishes! Thanks for checking on me. I'm doing fine. I just don't have as much computer time since trying to get priorities in correct order. Have a great rest of the week. =o)

Hi, Susan. I just wanted to pop on over and thank you for the comments you've left recently. I don't post very often, and I'm surprised anyone even reads anymore... lol. So I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate your kindness. :)

Hey Susan,
Just a note to let you know that I appreciate your comments so much!
Your list sounds pretty normal to me! I found it very interesting that your Dad was 52. How neat is that.
I'm slowly getting back to reading and commenting. We're still pretty busy wrapping up the estate and such, and I really didn't have it in me for a while to blog.
Have a blessed and wonderful day, my friend. :o)
