CLEAN UP - CATCH UP - THIS & THAT
Since the vacation I've had a hard time trying to "catch up" so decided to post a mix-match of things here.
I had posted about our living room, dining area & kitchen re-do and the wall paper jog. We had one last step - which was putting up a border all around the wall paper. Mickey finished that job and here it is. It finished it off nicely we thought.
Many of you prayed for our dear friend, Jack. This picture was taken 4 days!!!!! after his quadruple heart surgery. We would not believe how great he looked. The surgery was on April 7th. They were back to the Dr. last week and he is doing so good he doesn't have to go back for 3 months. Thanks to you all who prayed for Jack. We just praise the Lord for this victory!!!!!I was given this You Make My Day award on April 23 by Brenda of It's All Wonderfully Good. Sorry, Brenda, it's taken me 5 days to say Thank You. I do appreciate it very much.

Hi Susan,
Don't have time to read and catch up, but just noticed you left a comment on my blog...I just posted a new post. All's well...looking forward to being online soon again!
Blessings!

Susan,
I forgot to comment the yesterday. I did the meme as well. I also saw it on Karen's blog but didn't decide to do it until after you did - peer pressure??!
The trim around your wallpaper really does a nice job of finishing it off. I still think the wallpaper looks real!
Glad to hear about your friend's surgery recovery! God is amazing!

Your friend is looking wonderful! That is awesome! The wallpaper and all looks really nice!
Dearest Susan,
I just love the look of the wallpaper and Mickey did a terrific job of putting up the border around it!
Omigosh, look at Jack, only 4 days after his surgery...you're so right, he looks great!! Hard to believe what he had just gone through, wow! My prayers that he continues to recover fully.
Congratulations on the much deserving award, dear Susan!! xox
Praise God for the speedy recovery of your friend, prayer is powerful. Your kitchen looks very good. I'm just now lamenting over colors to paint mine.. to many choices and don't really know what I want yet.. Thanks for visiting God Bless
Thank you for commenting me back. I am glad to see your friend Jack is coming along well. It is an amazing day and age in the area of heart surgery! Is the rock the wallpaper? Because they look real in the picture...
have a nice afternoon!.~KSR~
I must admit that I do love a good catch up post - with lots of goodies all wrapped up inside!!
I love the stone look behind your counter - it looks wonderful!!
How awesome for Jack!! :-D
And, Susan, you make my day every day!!
My dad has been through that twice, your friend looks GREAT!
I am thankful that your friend is doing good. My nephew who is 46 had the same surgery a couple of weeks ago. He is still having fluid around his heart but they say he will be alright. Please keep him in your prayers. His name is Curtis Davis.
Have a great day. connie from Texas
I'm glad to meet another grandma in this new blogging world. Sounds like you have a great family life and of course you will live to be 120.
By the way, Thank you so much for visiting my site and giving me so much attention and encouragement to blog more. I surely don't intend my blog to be a downer for anyone but just real.
Thanks again.
That looks like it hurts.
I know you're glad to have your kitchen project done. Looks great.
Glad you're friend is doing so well, too.
looks great... yay God!... congratulations. hope you're catching up on everything. it's always a good thing to get away, but coming home and playing catch up is no fun (in my opinion).
Jack looks great. Isn't it amazing how small the bandage is for that large of a surgery? So glad to hear he is doing so well.
It always seems to take so long to recover from a vacation!!!
YEA! Jack looks good! Thanks for the update. I read the above post too. Another Yea, and Praise God on both of these posts.
Have a happy Thursday.
Jennifer
