S&T '08 - #14 - STAINED GLASS CHANDELIER

IT'S FRIDAY which means it's Show & Tell at Kelli's. Go over here and read all about it, participate and sign up on Mr. Linky.

My Show & Tell for this week is this stained glass chandelier that is over our dining table. Since I've shown 2 stained glass pieces I have hanging in windows on other Show & Tell's it is obvious that I loved stained glass.

This chandelier was the very first piece I obtained.

I found it a number of years ago at a garage sale. I feel in love with it at first sight and carried it home for Mickey to hang up.

It has been in several other homes we have lived in and has been hanging here since we moved in this home in 1998.

********************

NOTE: Mickey & I will be celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary in 175 days on

October 4th

We are leaving town tomorrow for a 9 day trip celebrating this occasion early due to where we are going, and what we are doing.

IT'S A SURPRISE!!!!!

BUT

I'll tell you all about it when we return after April 20th.

(Just in case you are wondering....we will also be celebrating with some type event on October 4th)

Beautiful!!!! I love the stained glass work too. And funny thing is, we have a light fixture that we've moved with us every time we relocate...AND--it goes in our dining room. And congrats on the 50 years together, that's terrific. I have a countdown to our 40th anniversary on my sidebar. LOL

My Show n Tell this week is the Pay it Forward gift I received in the mail from a blogging friend, won't you join me?

Have a terrific Friday!!!
