MICKEY''S COMPUTER

Blogger is giving me all kinds of trouble!!! Am I the only one having trouble? I downloaded all these pictures last night and began typing my post and lost it all!! grrrrr

When I got my newer, thin screen computer last year we just removed the hard drive from my old one and placed it in the new.er. The old computer sat here, on the floor in the office. About a month ago Mickey decided he wanted to set it up so he could have some computer time. Seems "someone" in this household hogs the computer!!!! NO, not me!!! Oh, yes, it's suppose to be "blog" not "hog".

He mentioned it to our son, Marc, who said he had an extra hard drive and gave it to Mickey. We went to Wa*lmart and bought a new streamline black keyboard & wireless mouse for my computer and Mickey took my larger white keyboard and mouse.

He installed the hard drive and switched out the keyboards and mice (or with computers is it mouses?!?!)

Marc had purchased a router for us (we wanted him to purchase it because he knew which kind to get and we didn't) at Sa*ms. He and the kids came over Sunday for lunch (swiss steak. Yum!!) and he installed the router and got his dad all set up.

Here he was yesterday, playing on his very OWN computer. Can you believe it? We now have a "His" and "Her" computer of our very own set up in our little home office. How wonderfully blessed we are.

This last picture was not taken at the same time as the other three. That is Mickey's normal attire around the house.

2 computers - cool.. you guys are turning into nerds :)

I have not had any Blogger problems in a long time. I seemed to have more when I used the Internet Explorer browser.. hardly any since I switched to the Firefox browser.

Mornin' Susan...

Wow...you have been blessed...two computers!!! Hehe!!! It just always amazes me...all of this technology stuff is moving along so fast that the computer we just bought this past year is nearly obsolete....oh my!!!

Just wanted to make a comment on the little Bible study that you're going to...it sounds wonderful!!! I love studying prophecy and have read most of Hal Lindsey's books! I love studying about the Rapture...after all, it's our HOPE!!! I just know that ya'll are going to get so much out of studying Revelations...as time goes on, more and more of that book is being revealed and we have understanding that so many didn't have years ago! Just thinking about something my mom told me...she grew up in church during the 40's and 50's...and said that you just never heard any preaching or messages even done out of the book of Revelations! It's the signs of the times...I do believe! I pray that the Lord bless your study, your teacher, and give each of you ladies "ears to hear"...in Jesus' name!

Warmest wishes,
Chari

Yes I am having terrible problems with blogger.

But neat that you are an equal rights home office(sorry I couldn't help myself)!

I've been accused of hogging the computer too! We use Firefox and like Bob said, I haven't had many problems with blogger since then.

His and Hers computers can be very helpful at times :)

I just LOVE that Mickey is playing a game! Next, you'll have to get him blogging.

Enjoy!

I wish my husband would express some interest in computers...
Maybe when he is retired and has time! :)

That is wonderful! I have to share "my" computer with the whole family. My husband has one in the bedroom for his school work, but it is a dinosaur and has no records of anything on it because it can't hold anything.

So I have to get my blogging and hogging out of the way during the day when I am home alone.

I loved seeing your husband on his hands and knees. Some things are just worth it :)

Have a great week!!

Oh, and no problems with blogger here. But we use Firefox rather than explorer.

It is some time I had problems. I hope it stays there, where ever there in cuber is.
I also use Fire fox, but has experienced problems on that too.

Wonderful! When I use the PC Jason uses his cell phone to read the internet. I do not think it is such a good option for ones eyes.

For me, Blogger is just very slow to upload pictures. Otherwise no trouble.

The new His and Hers Computers in your Home Office are wonderful!! =)Definitely another blessing to add to the list. =)

i know i take how many computers we have in my house for granted. when your husband works in the industry and has brought home a couple of free computers, you start thinking it's normal. i know it's not, tho, and i'm glad you and mickey each have your own now.

don and jake have taken on a project of building a computer from scratch. i guess i should take some pictures and post about it once they have the finished product.

Way to go. Two computers - two people - sounds about right.

I usually type my post in a word processor and then cut and paste. I don't lose stuff that way. I don't know if that would help.

I never thought we would have two computers but we do thanks to me spending so much time on it and the fact that it was hard for me to be running up and down the stairs all the time because of my bad knee. Isn't it great to have two? Now I don't feel guilty when I spend too much time blogging. lol

I had problems with blogger eating comments, but so far nothing else.

LOL at you hogging the puter. Maybe that is why Dave surprised me with my new laptop last year. Probably a good chance that I tend to be a hog, too.

We have so many computers in this house it's scary. That's only because Dave builds and sells them as well as repairing them.

My dad loves solitaire on his computer. Dave loves e-bay while I blog and do Facebook.

Now Mickey can start a "bee" blog. How's that for an idea.

Oh I can see it now; Instead of talking you'll start emailing, then I.M.ing, and then you'll "friend" each other on Facebook.

:-D

Susan,
I'm just getting to read your archives. I saw the picture of Mickey's desk, and had to tell you that we have the exact same one. I rescued it from the curb one trash day... (Sshhh! Don't tell!) So, anyway, small world, huh?
