Good-bye Elementary School

Wednesday, June 2, 2010 - Mickey, Marc, Oksana & I attended the Promotion Ceremony of the 144 5th grade students, including Aric, at Skelly Elementary.

Sister Oksana, Grandpa Mickey, Graduate Aric, & Grandma Susan (Dad Marc taking the picture).

Mrs. Yelton & Aric

This teacher is one of the teachers that was so influencial and helpful to both Oksana, when she attended Skelly, and during the 6 years (including kindergarten) that Aric was there. She was also very helpful, and supportive, to Single Dad Marc during these past 4+ years.

The blue package in her hand contained the gift below from her to Aric.

We are grateful to all the fine teachers at Skelly Elementary, but especially to this precious, thoughtful one.
His last time to leave Skelly, the last time for Grandma & Grandpa to pick him up from here on Wednesday and...

make our trip to Mc**D's "R" Gym for a Sundae & soft drink and to play with the other kids in the gym area.

Aric will be joining his sister, and his 3 new step-brothers, as students in Owasso when he enrolls next fall in Middle School.

We are so proud of you, Aric!!!!

Another milestone for your grandson. Congratulations to Aric. The book he received from his teacher is one of my very favorites to give as graduation gifts.

Congratulations to Aric. Nice pictures of you all!
My son got the Dr Seuss book as a gift when he graduated from high school. It was a gift from a young couple at church. She made it very special by putting a Bible verse on every page that went along with the subject. I thought it was a wonderful gift and Andy liked it too.
