UPDATE ON SUZETTE

I received these words this morning and they brought me great comfort. I trust they will comfort you in any trail and testing you may be going through.

We complain about the cross we bear but don't realize it is preparing us for the dip in the road that God can see and we can't.

Whatever your cross, whatever your pain, there will always be sunshine, after the rain.........

Perhaps you may stumble, perhaps even fall; but God's always ready, to answer the call..........

He knows every heartache, sees every tear, a word from His lips, can calm every fear.........

Your sorrow may linger, throughout the night, But suddenly vanish, dawn's early light........

The Savior is waiting, somewhere above, to give you His grace, and send you His love.........

God promises a safe landing, not a calm passage.

We are in a "holding pattern" as we await the final word from National Institute of Health about the second cell testing that they are doing. We should know by Thursday. Please continue to hold all of us (Suzette, her husband, Dave, Mickey & I and her brothers and sister) in your prayers. This is a very difficult path we are walking........but we know who holds our hand and who goes before us.

Your verse is one I often lean on too! Christ really is there through every circumstance. I pray that your daughter will find complete healing and God's presence with her every step of the way.

The words, On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand, kept going through my mind after reading your last two posts. I love that blessed old hymn, what reassuring words to soothe our hearts as we go through suffering. Even the Apostle Paul had a thorn in the flesh that he didn't want and asked to be relived of it three times. God has His reasons, even though we don't always know what they are at the time. Will be praying for all of you during this time that you will be given peace and your daughter given strength to get through this. xoxox
