What the devil meant for evil......
On April 21st I blogged about Mickey wrecking his 1996 S-10 Pick-up. He had purchased it on September 24, 2004, for $2,500, and it had 204,000 miles on it and 253,674 miles the day of the accident.. The truck was so badly damaged Mickey & his mechanic friend, who is always our "go to" man, decided it was not worth repairing. Mickey gave it to our mechanic to use for parts.
Look at WHAT THE LORD HATH DONE -
Here is Mickey with his 1995 S-10 Pickup which he just purchased, September 1, 2012, for $3,000.
This is 1 year older than the one he wrecked but it has only 74,440 miles on it and is as sharp, and clean as a whistle!!! It belonged to a friend, of a friend of ours, and has hardly been driven the past 7 years due to some health problems.
Side view of the one he wrecked and side view of this "new" one he just purchased.
I get my first ride in it on the 5th.
Proud Dad took it out to Marc's in Owasso Saturday to do it's first "work"....hauling off some crates and boxes Marc had left from his move into his new home in December, and taking them to the dump.
Yes, this is a story in action of Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Also, Psalm 37:4 – "Delight thyself also in the LORD, and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart." Mickey desired and we prayed for the Lord to lead him to an S-10 Chevy Pick-up as good as the one he had ---- God did BETTER!!!

That is a very nice little truck! I am so happy for Mickey to be able to get another! Sometimes I would like to have an extended cab. But it was funny burying Jack with groceries the other day! Love to you both.
Super! Just like the Lord :) So happy for Mickey, and you too!
Praise the Lord! I love when God does stuff like that! :)
Congratulations!
Blessings,
Tammy

We just can't out-do the Lord! I'm so glad it all worked out so well.
That's neat, Susan. I especially enjoyed the last picture of Mickey pointing at Marc. Hmmm...wonder what he's telling him? :)
