AN AWARD - A RECIPE - A NAME PICTURE

Michelle of Ozarks sew n' sews has been kind enough to name me for the Nice Matter's Award. For the first time I am going to pass this Award to all of you who not only read my blog daily but take the time to leave comments. NICE MATTERS and each and every one of you bless me daily. I never take you for granted and always appreciate your niceness :o) Thank you Michelle for being kind enough to pass this one on to me.

This is a first for me because I have never posted a recipe before. This morning I had some over ripe bananas and decided to bake some bread before our 100+ degree weather set in for the day. I discovered I did not have enough white flour, but did have whole wheat flour and decided to go ahead and bake it with the whole wheat. It turned out so wonderful and tasty I decided to pass it on. Almost has a nutty, crunchy taste. The recipe actually made 3 small loaves and 1 large loaf. One small one got eaten before the picture :o) Oh it is good!!!
By the way, the pretty red roses are from our climbing rose bush in our back yard. They not only look beautiful......they smell Divine!!

Hawaiian Banana Nut Bread

Ginger of Just a Thought passed on the Name Game that Jennifer of Pen of Jen began. Ginger did hers in blueberries. I just love these various names that our blogging world has done on this Meme. Thank you Ginger.

ANOTHER ITEM

Many of you who read my Show & Tell yesterday, and left comments wanted to see some prom pictures. Wish I had some :o( I looked and didn't.

Congratulations on the award dear Susan, you certainly do deserve the NICE award:-) That recipe sounds fabulous and I can see where the loaf would be nice and moist because of the pineapples and bananas in it...I will definitely have to try this!! How ingenious to think of writing your name with blueberries!!! xox

Hi Susan!

Oh, what a pity that you do not have any prom pictures! But guess what: I do not have any photos of my gratuation party neither! It was in 1994 and I was wearing a dress for the first time! (Now, I often wear dresses and skirts).

Your banana breat looks delecious, I wish I could taste it!

Congratulations on the Nice matters award! I was nominated, too and felt very honoured, too!

Have a wonderful Sunday!

Oh, your red roses are wonderful!

To one of the nicest people I've never met, haha...I love you and I love banana bread. I always make mine with wheat flour, it's great! How about you, me, and Karen all sit down with that cup of coffee?

By the way, the blueberries did not roll, but my fingers did turn a lovely shade of purple by the time I finished!

Dave brought the berries home from a guy at work and I'll be making blueberry everything for a bit. I froze some, but the banana bread will be next on my list. I love it!

Oooh this sounds so yummy, thanks for sharing it. We often have bananas that soon over ripen..yet why is it when there are hardly any in the fruit bowl everyone wants some? Irish logic there. I must try this. Glad to see you have this award too. Lovely lady :-)
