CHEMOTHERAPY RESULTS

What a mighty, awesome, wonderful God we serve!!! Suzette literally sailed through the first round of the chemo yesterday. Dave was there with her from 7:30 until almost 10. I got there at 8:15 but just waited in the waiting room until Dave was ready to leave as they only allow one person in the treatment room at a time with the patient. I'm so glad Dave was able to spend that much time with her.

She just called me this morning and had the best nights sleep she's had in a month. Our God truly not only hears our prayers, but answers our prayers.

She just realized that her driver's license expires in December so she is going today to renew it while she still has her hair!!! Good thinking. The Dr. did tell her the hair will fall out on the 16th day, which will be November 14th.

She & I were going to go to a special class on Tuesday November 2nd, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. about personal appearance, make-up, how to use scarves, etc. We were already booked for it but I realized this morning that I will be working the election that day so I won't be able to attend with her as I have to be at my assigned polling place from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Hopefully her sister, Jacque, can get her work schedule changed where she can go with her. It's so wonderful that the Cancer Society puts on things like this.

We are just praising our Lord today and thanking each and every one of you who are standing with us and praying for Suzette's COMPLETE HEALING.

"I have set the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Therefore, my heart is glad and my body will rest secure." Psalm 16:8-9 Yes, Suzette's body will rest secure. Thank you Jesus.

What a wonderful answer to prayer for that first time. I know that you and Mickey and the rest of the family are a real source of encouragement to her too.

Great to hear that she sailed through the first treatmant, and what a neat thing to have that support to help with the hair loss etc. Still praying for all of you.

I am so happy to hear things are going well! I wish you could have gone with her to the personal training class, it would have been fun for mother and daughter! It's so nice that they do that for the patients.

I hope your presence at the polls will have a good affect on the voters and they'll vote the way we would like! LOL!

Thanks for keeping us informed. Still praying!

Good news, Susan. I thought I'd commented on this, but my wacky brain must have been interrupted as I don't see it. Praying much for you dear folks as you go through this. The Lord has His purposes and will accomplish great things. I am sure Suzette will look very pretty with her pretty scarves and makeup.
