FATHER & SON

I saw this great photo recently on fb and saved it.  I do not know these people but this spoke such volumes to me.  I immediately sent it to our son, Marc, because this so depicts Marc's relationship with his father, Mickey.  In fact the other day when I went to Marc's office, for us to have lunch together, he said, "Look at my screen saver, Mom," as he turned his computer off.

There was this photo and those great words on BOTH of his double screen computer.

Dad, Mickey, looking intently as Son, Marc, shows him some new feature on his new computer part.  Next post will be about this computer!!!

Still another of Son, Marc, putting things together as Dad, Mickey, watches with admiration while petting the dog, Sasha's head.

I am so grateful for these two MEN who bless my life on an ongoing basis.

The really great thing is I know Marc is raising his son, Aric, and this closeness will continue into that 2nd generation.  THIS makes me really happy.

It's a blessing for both father and son to have this kind of relationship. Bob and Andy are the same way, and it's been really hard on him having Andy so far away.
I loved this post!

My dad and brothers share this kind of relationship. He's been a great teacher and they are good sons.

I also feel so grateful for my mom and the wonderful example she has been to me. I know she learned for her mother (my grandmother, hero!) and I pray that I have passed this along to my girls.

Nice post, Susan. I am blessed in that my son and my husband are close, too. We are a close-knit family, the four of us. My daughter and son are great friends as well as siblings.
The photo you found makes me think of the role reversal, when the father gets old then it's the sons turn to hold his hand to steady him. And how wonderful it is to know our Heavenly Father's hand is always holding us!
Love your photos. Have a wonderful weekend!
