FAMILY FIGHTS TOGETHER

Granddaughter Jessica's birthday present to me her grandmother, her mom Jacque, her Aunt Suzette and to herself for our 2010 December birthdays was this:

beautiful silver feather and cancer awareness ribbon neckless:

Along with the accompanying description: the feather represents "going beyond boundaries" and "getting above it all"; the white (silver) represents "wholeness" & "completion";and the cancer awareness ribbon is a symbol everyone now recognizes.

Best of all it represents a FAMILY FIGHTING TOGETHER-what this family is doing

for

OUR SUZETTE

A wife, daughter, sister, aunt and sister-in-love to us and we are standing together........

not in luck (which we do not believe in)

but in FAITH.

Speaking of the righteous..."He will have no fear of bad news;

his heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord.

His heart is secure, he will have no fear,

in the end he will triumph on his foes.

Psalm 112:6 - 8

This is the verse we were given to stand on September 28th and we "having done all

STAND".

Your granddaughter has an amazing heart.

I have a blogger friend, Leilani of Ozark Oddments (http://leiweedit.blogspot.com/). She and her family are in great need of prayers. I would ask that you add them to your prayer list. Thank you so much.

I agree what a beautiful gift! She is very thoughtful. I think that is neat that you all will have the same necklace to wear.
I too love that verse.
I too continue to STAND in and pray for Suzette and your entire family.
God Bless you all.

How sweet and thoughtful, Susan. There is nothing that brings a family closer than going through a trial together. This is especially true when the Lord is holding you up in the fire! You are blessed.

It's the beautiful things like that that help all involved get through the tough and trying times. I remember when my sister was in the hospital for those 90 days and we almost lost her, I bought a simple silver ring with 'faith' written on it. I bought one for me and her. She doesn't even remember me giving it to her in the hospital. But to this day we both wear our rings to remind us that the Lord has carried all of through.
