Ornament Swap

Kathleen Marie of The Open Window hosted an Ornament Swap. This was the first swap I have participated in. My swap partner was Sandi of Did You Ever Think About.
Sandi is from Nazareth, PA. How about that for a Christmas ornament!!

I have only been to PA once, in 2002, but it has a special place in my heart because my beloved father was born in PA.

This is the adorable little Angel and card that arrived yesterday from Sandi.

Isn't she precious? She is especially dear to me for 2 reasons:

1) I love and collect angels!! and 2) She is hand made.

Thank you SO much Sandi. I will place her in a very special place in our home.

Bookmark from Kitty

I received this precious, hand made, personalized bookmark on Monday.

I am showing the front and back.

It is so special to me because it was a gift from Kitty of Kitty's Korner.

Kitty is a sweet, stay-at-home mom from Albuquerque who holds a special place in my heart because of my having lived in Albuquerque and being raised in Santa Fe.

Kitty has not been blogging since October, when her computer went down, and is sorely missed by many of us.

I think it is so personal and special because she used the Kitty print fabric!!!!

Thank you from the depths of my heart, Kitty.

I miss you!!!
============================

I am reminded AGAIN of the blessings that blogging and my blog friends have added to my already blessed life. EACH and everyone of you are very special to me.

Blessing #4.......Mickey's employer paid him for the 5 days they were shut down, do to lack of power from our ice storm, and they were not opened. What a wonderful surprise, shock and blessing this was. It is especially so with the fact he has only been re-employed by them since September 29th.

=====================
Blessing #5........Mickey was given a check today as a Christmas Bonus!!! Wow, they are being so good to him. Guess they really appreciate the fine employee he is and the fact he was willing to come back to work for them.
WOW!!! Blessings and more blessings!!!!

I have wanted to try that cookbook, not sure I would like doing the puree thing though. I love my sweets and would like to eat healthier. Let us know how you like it.

Nice gifts you received, the Lord knew you needed all those blessings for encouragement!

Katherine

I added more Nativity displays tonight, if you would like to see them!

Don't you just love the favor of the Lord? You are so blessed. Thinking of you and ready to wave if we head your way. I have your number safely tucked away...just in case.

Wishing you special blessing this season as you love and appreciate your family and the hand of God in your lives this year!

I love your blessings that you have received. Isn't it nice to have them clumped together, too. Like every time you turn around "poof" another blessing appears. God is good.

Hi Susan,
I saw that cookbook when I was out shopping. Maybe you'll share a recipe or two?
What blessings to be paid for the storm outage time as well as a Christmas bonus!

What nice gifts you have received!

I've been thinking a lot about David and wondering how he's doing. I loved the start of his story on his blog, and hope he'll be able to return soon.
