WAITING

We have been WAITING since last Wednesday, when we got word (on the day Suzette was to begin chemo) that Bethesda was considering her, and actually reserved one of two spots left on a research study for her.

These past 6 days have been VERY difficult days for all of us. They had one more test to do for a certain cell. At first they told us we'd know by Friday and then on Friday they said it would be this Thursday.

We have today and until 10:30 tomorrow morning when she has her Dr. appointment to wait. I am not good at waiting!!!!!!

Suzette has been having a very difficult time both physically, mentally and spiritually. Please continue to pray for all of us that we not lose faith or hope and that we keep our eyes fixed firm on our Lord and Savior, Jesus.

ADDENDUM: I posted the above early this morning. At 9:30 Suzette received a call from Bethesda......she is NOT a match on that cell for their study. It is now 10:20 a.m.

In the natural this is a huge disappointment because by man's thinking this appeared to be a good way to go.......BUT we must not, and can not get our eyes totally on the natural, but know that it is God who holds each of us in the palm of HIS hand and has HIS plan.We continue to believe and stand for TOTAL HEALING AND RESTORATION OF OUR WONDERFUL DAUGHTER, SUZETTE.

Please continue to stand and believe with us and uphold us in prayer to our Father God, and Savior, Jesus the Christ and being led and directed by The Holy Ghost, who is our Comforter.

So now what? If she didn't match that does that mean she doesn't get to do it?

I hate waiting, too. At 43 and still single, I kind of get it...

Sohaliah - Yes, Bethesda is totally out of the picture and she will begin chemo therapy here in Tulsa.

Dear Susan I know that must have been an awful disappointment, to have waited another week and then still have to begin chemo....
My heart hurts for your family. Hubby has been through cancer twice several years apart and different types, so I do feel empathy towards your situation. I pray you can look to the Father and not the mountain of this situation. Only in the spirit can we do that. I pray right now in Jesus name for the Lord to grant you all "vision in the spirit". Amen

Love and big hugs!!

Susan, in the natural, we're truly disappointed. Know that we're praying, and trusting the Lord for Suzette and her well being, spiritually, physically and mentally. With love and more hugs than you could know.

Hang in there, Susan. And when you can't hold on any more, remember that HE will never let you go! I am praying for all of you to be conformed to the image of Christ through this very trying time!

Oh how we love to make the plans and wait for the Lord to move, but then again we learn that He has a plan far bigger and better than ours.

May you find this not to be a downfall, but rather in your daughter's best interest in the long run.

You know we believe with you for His best for all of you.

Love you!

Dissapointing for you I can see but how great it is to know that God is in control. Prayers and love go out to you all at this very difficult time.

Our longest standing friend has just had the same diagnosis.

Susan, Just as in John 5 when a man was waiting at the pool of Bethesda for the angel to trouble the water, he never made it into the pool for 38 years BUT JESUS....
came to the man and healed him that same day. Even though Suzette wasn't accepted into Bethesda just as this man wasn't.. we will stand on John 5 for Jesus to do the same for Suzette.

Love you all and praying this particular word over her.

PS....the word verification I had to type in is 'suppl' SUPPLY....JESUS WILL SUPPLY THE HEALING.

I love what Sandra wrote - BUT JESUS!
But Jesus is still with you and her. But Jesus has a better plan. But Jesus knows your heart and your hurt.
I'm praying.

God Knows. He is doing His work, even when we don't see or feel it. But He Knows.
Still praying.
Hugs to all of you.

The Lord knows what He's doing. For His purposes He didn't want Bethesda and He'll do His work there in Tulsa. God bless and keep all of you, Susan. We are praying.
